Amon Amarth is definately the best band out of sweden. They’re not the most technical of death metal bands but they’re more creative and original than any other. From seeing them live many times they put on the best show. Personally I was even more impressed by them than I was by Iron Maiden. Unlike many other bands they’re actually intelligent and put a lot of effort into their music. They also barely make a living from playing their music. Especially in America they’re b arely known. They do it because they love it and that’s how death metal should be. Not like any of this new garbage like atreyu and between the buried and me, bury your dead and all that other crap!!!!!!!
Oh yeah! “In Flames” were included into this list! However, their latest alboms sach as “Soundtrack to your escape” are better. And I’d like to add “Nocturnal Rites” and “Guillotine”. Their music really is smth spesial.
In Flames is one of my fav bands. Soilwork, The Haunting, and Arch Enemy also kick major A$$!
