Tracii Guns Departs Quiet Riot

Saturday January 14, 2006
It lasted less than a month. Just a few weeks after announcing Tracii Guns had joined the band, Quiet Riot issued a statement saying he has left the band:

"Although we all had high hopes and the best intentions for the success of our association, it became evident collective that the musical diversity of styles would not work to our mutual satisfaction. Rather than go into the recording studio unsure of the outcome, Quiet Riot and Tracii Guns have decided to amicably part company but remain friends and hold each other in the highest respect. Quiet Riot will still enter the studio in late January to record new songs for the next studio release, the first new material from the band since the release of Guilty Pleasures in 2001. Look for Quiet Riot on tour upon completion of the new recordings."
