Caliban - The Undying Darkness Review

A lot of people are comparing today's metalcore to the nu-metal trend of a few years back. There is a slight backlash against metalcore now, but I don't think it will reach the level of hatred that nu-metal attracted. Plus there are quite a few good metalcore bands that are doing unique things and doing them well. One of those is the German band Caliban. Their latest album is a big step up from their last one, and the musicianship is first-rate. Anders Friden from In Flames produces, and adds a little more metal to the core.
