Back in 1986 there was an all star metal project called Hear 'N Aid that came together to record the song "Stars" for African famine relief. It was the metal version of "We Are The World." Some of the biggest names in metal participated in the song, including Ronnie James Dio, Judas Priest, Quiet Riot, Motley Crue, Twisted Sister, Dokken, Ted Nugent, Yngwie Malmsteen, W.A.S.P., Spinal Tap, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Queensryche, Black Sabbath and many others. Thanks to YouTube, you can now watch the 7 minute video of "Stars" in all it's cheesy '80s glory.
