Misery Index - Discordia Review

Death metal is by nature angry and brutal, but some groups take it to another level, and Misery Index is one of those groups. On their second album they infuse death metal with a hardcore punk attitude and in your face political and social lyrics. Misery Index is about as subtle as a punch in the face, but they do show some versatility by slowing the tempo down just a bit on a song or two and infusing a little more melody.
