Tim "Ripper" Owens Interview

Ripper is the ultimate rags to riches story. He went from playing in a bar band to being the frontman for the legendary Judas Priest. Owens has a powerful and memorable voice, and when Rob Halford returned to Judas Priest Owens had no shortage of offers. He decided to join Iced Earth, and remains a member of that band. He wasn't allowed to write songs in either Priest or Iced Earth and wanted an outlet for his songwriting. He formed Beyond Fear, who just released their debut self-titled album.
