Zao - The Fear Is What Keeps Us Here Review

Zao is a band that a lot of people have misconceptions about. The main one is that they are a Christian hardcore band. That may have been the case years ago, but they have evolved into a straightforward metal/metalcore band. On their latest release they up the level of extremity by bringing grindcore influences into their death and thrash metal. It's intense and aggressive with piercing vocals, but the musicianship is also as high quality as anything they've ever done.
