Hatebreed - Supremacy Review

Thursday August 31, 2006
Metalcore hasn't been getting a lot of respect lately, but Hatebreed proves the genre isn't dead yet. They've stayed true to their metallic hardcore sound, but have made some advancements since their last CD.

The band's songwriting has improved. The songs are still angry and brutal anthems with great thrash guitars, gang choruses and breakdowns, but they've added some twists and turns that make the songs a little less predictable. The band now has two guitarists with the addition of former Terror and Ringworm guitarist Frank Novinec, which makes their sound even thicker and allows for things to be a little more complex.

I never stopped wondering how can heavy metal bands produce or come up with such creative album covers. I know that it is not the band themselves who makes it. But seem to have great tastes!
