Thy Disease - Rat Age Review

Monday October 9, 2006
When this CD first starts playing you figure there must be some kind of labeling mistake. Instead of death metal you hear '80s style pop synths. After the intro the death metal does thankfully kick in, but the synths are a major part of Thy Disease's sound. Instead of the cheesy '80s sound of the first interlude, the synths generally add a mechanical and industrial feel to the songs with plenty of clanks and beeps and buzzes.
