The Devil Wears Prada - Plagues Review

Friday August 24, 2007
The Devil Wears Prada's latest effort is Plagues, which incorporates the usual metalcore style and constant breakdowns with synths and some rock elements that add a little twist to The Devil Wears Prada's sound. They go from being very intense, aggressive and harsh to melodic and mainstream.

The vocals on the album are a combination of high pitched screams, low pitched screams and melodic singing. The high pitched screaming gets a little grating, but the lower pitched screaming is good, as is the melodic singing. There are also guest vocals from Craig Owens of Chiodos.
