Martin Popoff - Judas Priest: Heavy Metal Painkillers Book Review

Martin Popoff has written several band biographies during the past few years, including books about Black Sabbath, Dio, Rainbow, UFO, Rush and Blue Oyster Cult.

His latest is Judas Priest: Heavy Metal Painkillers. Like his other band bios, it is organized by album. Each chapter talks about what went into each album, the songs themselves,interviews with various band members and tour information. Judas Priest has a long and interesting history, and Popoff does a nice job boiling it down and organizing it into a very readable and compelling book.
