Bullet For My Valentine - Scream Aim Fire Review
The expectations are huge for Bullet For My Valentine's second full-length, and Scream Aim Fire won't silence the critics, but will satisfy the band's fans. The songs are slick and melodic with big hooks and singalong choruses. Bullet For My Valentine's musicianship and songwriting have improved and matured, and there aren't nearly as many filler songs on this CD.
Even though the songs are catchy, there are also some aggressive parts and a few breakdowns. Matt Tuck's melodic vocals are very prominent on the CD, although there still is some screaming. Scream Aim Fire is a well-rounded affair with harsher metal songs, radio-friendly rock tracks and a ballad or two. There's also a collaboration with Skindred's Benji Webbe on "Take It Out With Me."

To be honest, I absolutely loved every single song on Bullet’s first album - I do not love Scream Aim Fire. The more ‘aggressive’ approach forementioned just comes off as though they’re trying to hard to emulate someone else’s sound. I liked a couple of songs but, given the choice, I absolutely would not rebuy it.
I agree. I loved every song from the Poison and as i listened to Scream Aim Fire, none of the songs really jumped out at me, especially like tears dont fall, four words, hand of blood, or i guess almost every song from the Poison. Its not bad at all, but i wouldn’t buy it again either…
His singing sounds like he’s trying to sound like Trivium now that their lead singer stopped screaming… who sounds like he’s trying to sound like metallica…
