Kingdom Of Sorrow - Kingdom Of Sorrow Review

Thursday February 21, 2008
Kingdom Of Sorrow is a new band started by Hatebreed's Jamey Jasta (vocals) and Down/Crowbar's Kirk Windstein (vocals, guitar). They have been writing together for a few years, but due to their busy schedules have only recently completed their self-titled debut.

Kingdom Of Sorrow is a nice combination of Jasta and Windstein's other bands. It has elements of harsh and fierce metalcore, but also a southern metal/stoner groove. You'll hear slow to mid-tempo songs with a lot of melody and a lot of aggression along with metallic hardcore influenced, breakdown infused brutality.

(1) Brad says:

I saw Kingdom of Sorrow last night at the Great Salt Aire. I was completely blow away. I’ve seen many a concert in my 40 years of life, but Jamey and the boys tore it up and left us all gasping for air. Great show. Not to mention Toxic Holocaust and GWAR played their collective asses off as well. Keep it coming guys.
