Gamma Ray - Hell Yeah: The Awesome Foursome Live In Montreal Review

Wednesday November 5, 2008
Hell Yeah: The Awesome Foursome Live In Montreal is a double CD set with 18 songs and over two hours of material. There's also a double DVD of the concert that's available. Only seven of the 18 songs are duplicates of 2003's Skeletons In The Closet live album.

Gamma Ray fans will really enjoy this album. The sound quality is excellent, with just enough crowd noise that you know it's a live CD. Kai Hansen's voice sounds great, and the setlist is a good one. It's a nice representation of the band's discography, plus there's a mix of soaring power metal songs, mid tempo tracks and power ballads.
