If February is any indication, 2009 will be a great year for metal. Outstanding releases from veterans like Cannibal Corpse and Napalm Death along with new bands like Luna Mortis made February a strong month. Topping this month's list is the latest from metal juggernauts Lamb Of God. Several genres are represented in the top five, including death metal, black metal, progressive metal and grindcore. February was also a good month for American bands, as four of the five on the list hail from the U.S. Take a look at my list, then post your comments about which CDs you think were the best ones released in February, 2009.
