Megadeth - Endgame Review
Megadeth’s career arc has been on the rise the past few years, and Endgame cements the legendary thrash band’s current relevancy. Mustaine never seems to run out of riffs or anger, and this CD is packed with both. “Dialectic Chaos” kicks off the album, a shredding instrumental setting the stage for what’s to come.
What follows are guitar heavy thrash tunes that are unmistakably Megadeth. Songs like “44 Minutes” and “This Day We Fight” are intense, groovy, catchy with multiple guitar solos. Along with the lyrics, the CD booklet even lists who does which solo, so you can keep up with Mustaine and Broderick’s dual guitar wizardry.

I gave this a listen today for about the 10th time since we got the pre-copy and its amazing. Bodies and Headcrusher are the two that stand out for me, but every song is solid in my opinion. The melody changes are much more effective then that other band we don’t mention with Mustaine had…
Metallica Who? Megadeth never disappoints. Take a lesson Lars….
It is very close to their best release in the last 20 years…..’this day we fight’ and ‘44 minutes’ are incredible songs and honestly … the album seems to get BETTER with every listen.
Mustaine indeed does NOT dissapoint, BTW rumors of the big four going on tour have been confirmed as being discussed by Robert Truljo of Metallica…..that will be something else if it ever actually happens.
I am a real hardcore fan of megadeth… Each time they release a new album, it’s like meeting with an old friend. But they keep getting worse… God, this time they are even worse than metallica! Recntly Dave said some shit about how ACDC kept on repeating themselves… I hope he could do the same…
this album is perfect! even better than united ambtions i think=) megadeth is def getting better and better!
