Wow, replace Moonspell with the best Rage Album (Black in Mind) and we got the same 10 for this year. Granted, most of them are very obvious choices. Also Notable: Opeth/Nevermore/SYL who would make the best albums 10 years later, debuted here! Some memorable Extreme Metal Offerings: Bolt Thrower/Cryptopsy/SixFeetUnder/Morbid Angel/Suffocation/Immortal/Kreator. Iced Earths Burnt Offering (first with Barlow). I have In Flames’ The Jester Race listed for this year (making the Swedish MelodicDeath Triumvirate complete, you noticed the German One?).
