The Flames Of The End is the definitive At The Gates DVD, a three disc collection with 8 hours of material. The centerpiece of the DVD is the documentary Under A Serpent Sun. It's an extensive history of the band, and was put together by guitarist Anders Bjoler. It combines interviews with the band members, rare photos and performance footage from their 2008 reunion tour.

The DVD also includes several deleted scenes along with four music videos for songs such as "Kingdom Gone" and "The Burning Darkness." Make sure to turn on the subtitles, because most of the documentary is in Swedish, with some English. The documentary alone makes this worth buying, a 2 hour detailed chronology of At The Gates from the beginning to the end to the reunion.
