Enslaved is Soulfly's 8th studio album. There have been a couple of lineup changes since their last release, with drummer David Kinkade (Borknagar) and bassist Tony Campos (Prong, Ministry) joining the band. Even though Max Cavalera will always be associated with Sepultura, he's now been in Soulfly longer and made more albums with them than he did with Sepultura. Enslaved is an inconsistent effort with some outstanding songs, but also some mediocre ones.
