The Devil are another one of those mysterious bands whose members are anonymous. And even though their name is The Devil, they aren't Satanic. Musically, their self-titled debut is doom with a spooky symphonic ambiance. They use samples from obscure movies as a narrative, covering a wide variety of subject matter. Reviewer Raymond Westland says The Devil is "one of the most compelling and enigmatic albums you will hear this year."
