The band's third album is Tales From Dirt Town, and a bit of a musical departure for Bobaflex. There are still plenty of intense, modern metal songs on the album, but they also diversify their sound. Their songwriting explores many different textures and levels of intensity and emotions. There are good time rockers, angry diatribes and even an introspective slower song or two.
The riffs are still heavy, but Bobaflex injects a lot more melody into this album. There are some really catchy songs with great harmonies that are really memorable. Their lyrics resonate with the listener and reflect some of their real life experiences. If you like groups like Sevendust and Disturbed that mix crunchy riffs and accessible hooks, Bobaflex will be right up your alley.
