It's an epic concept album based on the biblical Book Of Revelations. There are interludes with spoken word vocals and sound effects that help tie the concept together. The songs are dynamic and dramatic, with dual guitars showcasing blazing riffs and solos. The CD clocks in at 72 minutes, and although there a few self-indulgent moments, never loses momentum.
Sean Peck is an excellent singer, and his style fits Cage's music perfectly. He sings with emotion, power and range, and knows when to dial it back and when to belt it out. Hell Destroyer is a well-crafted and enjoyable album that power metal fans will enjoy.
