If you're expecting Coldseed to sound like either Soilwork or Blind Guardian you'll be disappointed. This is an entirely different animal. Their style is modern metal with industrial influences in the vein of groups like Korn, Ministry and Godsmack.
The songs on Completion Makes The Tragedy are both dark and melodic. Even though the overall vibe of the songs is modern, a few old school style guitar solos pop up once in a while in addition to the tight riffs and atmospheric keyboards. Speed's vocals are sometimes harsh and highly processed and other times very melodic. A few songs are way too nu-metal for my tastes, but the majority of the album is pretty good and shows a nice balance of catchy radio friendly tracks and ones with a darker industrial sound.
