Dark Funeral - The Secrets Of The Black ArtsRegain Records
The first three full-length CDs from the Swedish black metal band Dark Funeral are being re-released with bonus material. In addition to this album, 1998's Vobiscum Satanas and 2001's Diabolis Interium are being getting the reissue treatment from Regain Records.

After a self-titled EP in 1994, The Secrets Of The Black Arts was Dark Funeral's first full-length and released originally in 1996. The music on this CD is really fast with lots of blast beats and a dark, evil atmosphere with shrieking vocals and blasphemous lyrics. The production is reasonably polished for black metal, but there is still plenty of rawness.

In addition to the original album, there is a second bonus CD that includes the previously unreleased Uni-Sound recording from early 1995. For fans of Dark Funeral, the 8 song bonus disc is reason enough to buy this re-release.
