The German band Deadsoil is fighting an uphill battle. There are so many interchangeable metalcore bands in the world and more crop up every day. Deadsoil are doing their best to stand out from the crowd. They have all the usual ingredients metalcore requires, like thrash guitar riffs, breakdowns and screaming vocals.
But they are also more diverse, using some melodic vocals and also varying the pitch of the screaming vocals. The songs are also reasonably diverse. You can at least tell one from the next, which isn't the case for a lot of metalcore bands. If you are into metalcore, Deadsoil is a band worth checking out.
