Divine Heresy - Bleed The FifthCentury Media Records
It's been a while since we've heard anything from former Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares. He has emerged with a new band called Divine Heresy. He recruited drummer Tim Yeung (Hate Eternal, Vital Remains) and vocalist Tommy Vext.

The band's debut album is Bleed The Fifth, and there are some definite similarities to Fear Factory. The songs are fast and technical with Cazares' trademark riffs. He also plays a few solos. There's a lot of double bass and some thrash and death metal influences.

Tommy Vext's vocals are mainly harsh yells, and does them well. There are also melodic vocals, which aren't too bad. The final song on the album is "Closure," which is a very radio-friendly song with almost all melodic vocals. Great musicianship, good songs and excellent production make this a very respectable debut.
