Fueled By Fire's debut album could easily have been released twenty years ago. Spread The Fire is vintage old school thrash played fast and loose. The shredding riffs and blazing guitars are the centerpiece of the band's sound, which is appropriate. The vocals are clean, but with a rough edge and sometimes not exactly on pitch.
There's absolutely nothing new here, but Fueled By Fire has the energy and catchy riffs to make it a compelling enough listen, especially for fans of groups like Exodus.
