The New York band Full Blown Chaos has signed with a new label, Ferret Music, and return with a new album just a year after the release of Within The Grasp Of Titans.
Heavy Lies The Crown is a punishing but catchy slice of metallic hardcore in the vein of groups like Hatebreed. Aggressive and angry hardcore mixes with thrashy guitar riffs that are really catchy.
There are no melodic vocals here, as frontman Ray Mazzola interprets his lyrics with passion and emotion. Full Blown Chaos haven't reinvented the wheel here. It's straightforward metallic hardcore, but they play it with a style that makes it much more than standard fare.
