The tour was in support of their 2005 CD Majestic, but the set list covers the band's entire career. 1999's Powerplant is the most represented album, with four songs. There are also tracks from 1990's Heading For Tomorrow, 1991's Sigh No More, 1995's Land Of The Free, 1997's Somewhere Out In Space, 2001's No World Order and of course Majestic. There's also a cover version of Helloween's "I Want Out."
Hell Yeah: The Awesome Foursome Live In Montreal is a double CD set with 18 songs and over two hours of material. There's also a double DVD of the concert that's available. Only seven of the 18 songs are duplicates of 2003's Skeletons In The Closet live album.
Gamma Ray fans will really enjoy this album. The sound quality is excellent, with just enough crowd noise that you know it's a live CD. Kai Hansen's voice sounds great, and the setlist is a good one. It's a nice representation of the band's discography, plus there's a mix of soaring power metal songs, mid tempo tracks and power ballads.
