Swedish death metal veterans Grave don't break any new ground on their seventh full-length release, but they still have plenty in the tank. They come strong with their brand of dark brutality that mixes slower groove oriented songs with fast blast beat laden slabs of intensity.
Even though the tempos ebb and flow, one thing is consistent throughout the album. That's the anger and bile spewing from vocalist Ola Lindgren. He's one pissed off dude, and those emotional growls, howls and screams make for an intense dose of death metal. Grave also shows how cover songs should be done, putting their own evil spin on the Alice In Chains grunge classic "Them Bones."
