The songs on the album are mostly really fast and intense death metal with influences of thrash and black metal. There are tons of blast beats and a flurry of shredding guitars. In Battle does slow the tempo down a little bit from time to time, but quickly resume the breakneck speed.
Sandin's vocals are angry death metal rasps which are reasonably understandable. The band plays with a ferocious intensity and can be very technical, but they also have the versatility to be a bit more groovy. Kingdom Of Fear has enough variety and different influences to rise above the sea of generic death metal that's out there.
