Jungle Rot has been around for over a decade, and if you're not familiar with them by now it's about time you were. They play crushing death metal with grindcore influences and a great groove. The biggest complaint a lot of people have about death metal is that you can't understand the vocals. That's not the case with Jungle Rot. Even though it sounds like he gargled with razor blades, you can understand every word Dave Matrise howls.
This is an excellent album. It has brutality, melody, memorable riffs and intense vocals.
