The Uncanny Valley is punishing death metal. The production by Jacob Bredahl (Hatesphere, Barcode) is excellent, allowing the individual instruments to be heard without compromising any sonic intensity. The songs on the album are mostly fast and brutal with thrashy riffs and blast beats. The vocals are the usual death metal style growls.
This is a solid death metal album, but doesn't break any new ground. The songs are good, although not groundbreaking or highly memorable. There's not a whole lot of diversity, but serious death metal fans may enjoy this album.
