As if Kylesa wasn't loud enough before, they increase the cacophany on their latest release with dualing drummers. Combine that with three vocalists and two guitarists, and you have one heavy CD.
Time Will Fuse Its Worth draws influences from numerous genres including doom, sludge, avant-garde, punk, crust, hardcore and a few others. There's never a dull moment as the songs are constantly shifting tempos and riffs. Slow doomy instrumental sections give way to densely packed grooves with screaming vocals.
This CD is a good combination of the raw and the technical, the melodic and the experimental. It's edgy and tough to digest in places, but in others it's very groovy and accessible.
