To me, this album is a slight step down from Vitta, but a good one nonetheless. I like the guitar work better on this album. The riffs are sharper and more memorable, and the solos are well played. There are still plenty of melodies here, but the intensity and speed are turned up a notch and the thrash influences are a bit more evident.
Vocalist Jens Ryden delivers the band's blasphemous lyrics with an angry shriek, and his style adds a lot of power and darkness to the mix. If you're a fan of black metal and missed Diabolical and Vittra the first time around, they are worthwhile additions to your collection.
