On their debut CD the Memphis Tennessee band Nights Like These delivers a pummeling but polished slice of metal. They combine the metallic riffs, breakdowns and hardcore screams of metalcore, but also include death metal blast beats and grindcore intensity. Their music is heavy and extreme, and the vocals aggressive and unintelligible.
It's really a diverse album and can go from a mid tempo melodic groove to a section that's really precise and technical and then turn up the volume and tempo and gallop into grindcore. It's a brutal and promising debut.
