Over the years Powerman 5000 has had a few different sounds and styles, and are a band that's always growing and changing. This time around they're going for a straight ahead approach of hard rock and punk. The songs are relatively simple, but they are catchy as hell with great hooks that will stick in your head long after the CD stops playing.
Some of the songs have a '70s glam sort of feel, others have more of a punk vibe, and others a late '80s Billy Idol sound. It's a diverse effort, and it sounds like the band is having a great time doing the hard rock/punk thing, which comes across when you're listening.
