From their band name to the song titles, you can tell this will be one sick CD. Pyorrhoea is the inflammation of the gums and tooth sockets, often leading to loosening of the teeth. That's exactly what the Polish band's music can lead to. And with songs like "Excrements On Your Face," "Addicted To Killing" and "Hung On A Hook," you know their music isn't for the faint of heart.
Originally released in 2004, Desire For Torment was Pyorrhoea's first CD. It's 29 minutes of pure brutality, with pummeling grindcore and intense death metal blasting from beginning to end. It's not subtle, it's not original, but it is effective. This lineup of the band included current Vader drummer Daray.
