Reanimator - Thrashin' The NeighborhoodGaly Records
Even though they are mostly in their late teens, the Montreal, Canada band Reanimator are inspired by old school eighties style thrash metal.

The band's debut album Thrashin' The Neighborhood is jam packed with some serious shredding. The riffs are rock solid, and the solos are good, although a little over the top at times.

The vocals are a combination of hardcore shouts, high pitched yells and gang style shoutalong choruses. The vocals are very raw and the production is a bit muddy. Reanimator blazes through 7 tracks of old school thrash in 25 minutes. The band has plenty of room for improvement, but they show a lot of promise and it will be interesting to hear how they progress.
