Sanctity - Road To BloodshedRoadrunner Records
The North Carolina band Sanctity is off to a really strong start. They've already been on Gigantour, and they were recommended to Roadrunner Records by Matt Heafy of Trivium and have toured with that band as well. In addition, their debut CD was produced by the very successful Jason Suecof (Bury Your Dead, Chimaira, Devildriver, God Forbid).

Road To Bloodshed has a lot of old school thrash influences with powerful riffs and shredding guitar solos. They add a few modern touches and melody and the result is an album that's both intense and accessible. Sanctity is able to write songs that have a lot of aggression and power, but also have strong hooks and melodies that will stick in your head.

Jared MacEachern is Sanctity's vocalist, and he shows a lot of versatility with equally strong aggressive thrash style vocals and melodic singing. There is a reason so many people are behind Sanctity. They are a band on the rise, and their debut proves they are equal to the challenge.
