See You Next Tuesday are a grindcore band with a sense of humor. Their debut CD has some great song titles including "Baby, You Make Me Wish I Had Three Hands," "Honey, I've Never Had Sex That Wasn't Awkward" and "Just Out Of Curiosity, Are Your Parents Siblings?"
Parasite is a vicious assault of brutal grindcore. See You Next Tuesday changes things up a little and avoids monotony. Some songs are full frontal barrages of lightning fast intensity, while others are a bit more moderate. The songs on the album are really short, with 14 tracks clocking in at just under 19 minutes.
The vocals are extreme as well. They combine guttural death metal growls with high pitched shrieking. See You Next Tuesday do their best to add their own style to the genre, and for the most part they succeed.
