Things are now going much more smoothly, and it took only another year for their sophomore release, Seven Sins A Second. Their music is gothic metal, dark and melancholy. The songs on this album are a little harder edged than their debut, but without sacrificing any melody or catchiness.
Vocalist Mikko Heikkila sings in both a mournful, gothic style baritone and a traditional melodic metal voice. His lower register is much more unique sounding, and at times Sinamore sounds a bit generic. I think they are on the right track going heavier with their music, and they already show they can write songs that are accessible with a lot of hooks. A little more uniqueness would help differentiate Sinamore from the gothic metal masses.
