This is the companion CD/DVD for the annual Take Action! tour, which is in its sixth year. Each year a portion of the proceeds from the tour and CD is donated to a charitable organization. This year it's the Youth America Hotline, a peer to peer counseling center that helps young people in crisis.
This year's compilation includes artists from punk, hardcore, indie, metal and alternative music. There are 33 songs on 2 CDs along with 29 videos on the DVD. Some of the many artists featured on the CDs include My Chemical Romance, In Flames, Misery Signals, It Dies Today and Strike Anywhere. Artists with videos on the DVD include Terror, Converge, Every Time I Die and Walls Of Jericho.
This compilation is for a great cause and it also exposes fans to many different genres of music.
