Tenebre is a Swedish gothic metal band, with the emphasis on the gothic. They've released several albums overseas, but this is their first one released in the U.S. The songs are dark and ominous with deep baritone vocals from Kalle Metz.
The music has an old school gothic feel and will remind you of groups like Type O Negative, Danzig and Sisters Of Mercy. Even though the atmosphere is melancholy, that doesn't stop the songs from being very melodic and catchy.
