Threat Signal - Under ReprisalNuclear Blast Records
On their debut album Threat Signal fuses several different styles including thrash, death, technical and hardcore. Their sound combines European and American metal. Actually that should be North American metal since they are from Canada.

One of the band's influences is Fear Factory, so it's only appropriate that Christian Olde Wolbers from Fear Factory is the producer of this CD. You'll also hear shades of Meshuggah, Killswitch Engage and even Pantera.

Threat Signal's music is very technical and precise, and the dual guitars of Kyle McKnight and Rich Howard are really impressive. They play very well off each other with solos and harmonies. The vocals of Jon Howard are diverse as well, ranging from hardcore shouts to death metal growls to melodic singing.

This is an impressive debut CD with catchy songs and excellent musicianship. Threat Signal has all the ingredients to be a very successful band.
