The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza - Danza II: Electric Boogaloo

Blackmarket Activities
It's obvious that The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza has a good sense of humor. From the Tennessee band's name to the album title to songs like "Nobody Eats BBQ Two Days In A Row" and "Rollin' And Tumblin' On Satan's Rotisserie," these guys don't take themselves too seriously.

The music on Danza II: Electric Boogaloo is anything but a joke. It is technical metal that is punishing and brutal while remaining complex and enigmatic. The musicianship is first rate, and the band goes from frenetic chaos to groovy breakdowns to frenzied grindcore.

The band's sense of humor is evident once again in the interludes between a few of the songs revolving around a dive bar. The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza's musical wizardry combined with their good old boy sensibility makes for a likeable and very solid technical metal/grindcore CD.
