Twisted Sister - A Twisted ChristmasRazor and Tie Records
Making a Christmas album isn't exactly "metal," but Twisted Sister has always been a band with a sense of humor, and they manage to pull it off. A Twisted Christmas starts with Dee Snider singing "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" along with an off key trumpet. Partway through they stop and start playing Twisted Sister style.

"O Come All Ye Faithful" incorporates riffs and solos from the band's biggest hit "We're Not Gonna Take It." There's also a duet between Snider and Lita Ford as they sing "I'll Be Home For Christmas." The CD is filled with traditional Christmas songs with a metal spin and lots of guitars. Things wrap up with a metal version of the "12 Days Of Christmas," which is far superior to Jeff Foxworthy's, but doesn't quite make it to the legendary status of Bob and Doug McKenzie.

This CD is a lot of fun, and people forget that Snider has a really good voice. A Twisted Christmas can get even the most cynical and jaded metalhead into the Christmas spirit.
