Guide Review - Impaled Nazarene - Pro Patria Finlandia
You know you're in for an intense listening experience when you check out the track listing and there's a song called "Goat Sodomy." As you would expect from the long-running Finnish band their latest effort is chock full of speed metal riffs and shocking lyrics. They follow the same sonic path they've been traveling for their past few albums, and I suppose if something's working there's no problem staying with it.
Impaled Nazarene's musical style is very thrash metal oriented, with breakneck riffs and plenty of headbanging. They also add elements of black metal in the vocals and lyrics. If you like your thrash on the evil side or your black metal on the thrashy side, you can't go wrong with this album.
