Guide Review - Motorhead - Kiss Of Death
The band's latest effort is classic Motorhead. They're not reinventing the wheel here, just delivering their trademark loud, fast, catchy songs. Kiss Of Death is packed with sleazy riffs and memorable hooks. And of course there's no mistaking Lemmy's raspy voice.
Poison guitarist C.C. Deville lends his axe to the track "God Was Never On Your Side" and the album wraps up with a blazing version of the Ramones' "R.A.M.O.N.E.S." It's great to hear a legendary band like Motorhead continuing to do what they do best, which is kick ass and take names. It's a fun and raucous album, best enjoyed at full volume.
