Guide Review - Thundra - Worshipped By Chaos

It's been six years since Thundra's debut album, and after some record company issues they have returned with their sophomore effort. Their style of black metal is symphonic, epic and melodic, but also aggressive and dark.

The vocals on the album are very diverse. Black metal rasps combine with low pitched growls and a surprising amount of melodic vocals. The songs are well-constructed with catchy riffs and a variety of tempos. Thundra isn't at the level of groups like Borknagar or Arcturus, but they do a solid job.
